Adaptive fitness classes are designed to allow individuals with special needs the opportunity to work on their fitness levels in a supportive environment led by a physical therapist knowledgeable about the medical diagnoses and backgrounds that may impact an individual's ability to participate in formal exercise. Adaptive exercise programming is designed to increase overall strength, balance, and coordination in order to improve functional strength and performance with everyday activities.

Group classes also foster team building and social skills in a positive and fun environment. We work on social skills such as partnering, turn taking and problem solving. It is an enjoyable group activity where friendships are made while making a positive impact on health and physical function.
