Physical Therapy
Tonja Hunt, MSPT,DPT is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Sports Studies from Rutgers University, Cook College and her Master of Physical Therapy from Widener University in the Philadelphia area. In addition she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Northeastern University.
Tonja has worked with patients of all ages in the outpatient setting pediatric through geriatric with a variety of orthopedic and neurological diagnoses. For the past 15 years, her life has been dedicated to providing pediatric physical therapy both in early intervention and school-based ages 3-18.
Tonja lives on the Southcoast with her husband, 3 children, and mini Golden Doodle, Honey. Her twins Carter and Isabella recently started college- Isabella is following in her mom's footsteps majoring in physical therapy. Carter has autism and his ongoing, amazing journey has offered her a unique perspective that has shaped not only her life but her therapeutic practice. Her younger son Dylan is in high school on the president's list and playing football, basketball and lacrosse.
In her spare time you can find Tonja enjoying exercising, attending her children's events, spending time with her family and at the beach.

Rates for services: 100.00/hr, private pay. Payment is due at time of service via check/credit card. We use Ivy Pay, a HIPAA compliant biller. In most cases, PT services can be paid using your Flexible Spending (FSA) or Health Savings Account.
(will provide a Superbill at client's request for client's submission to health insurance for reimbursement)
